This article cuts off rather suddenly. I think some additional discussion about the problems with rocket mail and why it did not catch on would be a good addition at the end of the article.

Agreed. For the reasons stated in the introduction: "cost of schemes" and "numerous failures", only "failures" was expanded upon. I would imagine the current mail delivery system would not be much more expensive than rocket mail...airplanes can blow up too. And with current technology it could be just as safe and inexpensive. -- Bubbachuck 17:02, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
It is something that I intend to work on. It appeared on DYK faster than I expected, so I've not yet had time to fill in some details, including other attempts and the costings. violet/riga (t) 18:10, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
