[edit] "Lorex" socks

Can anyone verify that the lyrics actually refer to "lorex socks" and not "little red socks?" If so, can anyone explain what "lorex socks" are? I've listed them as "lorex socks" in the article based on lyrics found online, but have 1) never heard of "lorex socks" and 2) can find no evidence that something called "lorex socks" have ever existed. Will leave as "lorex socks" for now. Thehaikumaster 14:32, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

    • what's "lorex"? i don't think that name exists at all. i heard the lyrics refer to "lurex socks", and here's why --Ac-dcfreak785 16:33, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
I checked the lyrics on the official acdc website; its lorex. maybe bon misspelled it or something, but he spelled it lorex. Captanpluto123 02:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap international album.JPG

Image:Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap international album.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:07, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Genre

Is this song a case of early speed metal (don't get on me about "AC/DC isn't metal!" I can site a million sources to verify it. Besides, this song's definitely heavy enough to be metal)? It certainly is pretty fast, but it's a few years before speed metal was really defined. However, a song from Deep Purple in 1972 is listed as speed metal. Helltopay27 00:15, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
