Talk:Rocco DeLuca and the Burden
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A good deal of the information on this page is from interviews or articles that contradict each other or is simply incorrect. For instance, I've seen another article that cites DeLuca's age as lower (I'm trying to locate it).
Also, a previous article/interview with him from OC Weekly - the same publication that much of this Wiki page draws its information from - states that his residency at the Gypsy Lounge began three years before the time of printing... but the article is a year older, from 2005. Doesn't add up.
In addition to that, while the moniker "Rocco DeLuca and the Burden" was first used sometime in 2005, the band had been playing together prior to that, and other formations preceeded this lineup as well. Shuckiduck 12:40, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
I need to second the issue with the moniker. I saw Rocco DeLuca perform with his current band in mid-2005. I also bought "I Trust You To Kill Me" (the CD) at that show. This article makes no reference to the fact that the current release of the CD is a reissue with an altered tracklist, and also makes no reference to the fact that the CD was released under the name Rocco DeLuca originally.
They may have only became "Rocco DeLuca and the Burden" in late 2005 and re-released the album under that name in 2006, but the band was opening for Lifehouse in 2005 and selling "I Trust You To Kill Me" back then too. This rather large factual error undermines the quality of the entire page.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Roccodelucaitrustyoutokillme.jpg
Image:Roccodelucaitrustyoutokillme.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:43, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
