From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rocori High School is a high school that educates three Minnesota towns, whose names form the acronym "Rocori": Rockville, Cold Spring, and Richmond. The school is located in central Minnesota about twenty miles southwest of St. Cloud. The school is most known for a school shooting that left two students dead. It is also noted for having the first Winter Drumline/Indoor Percussion ensemble in history.

Rocori also have a long lasting tradition of excellence in sports as well. The Spartans boys basketball team has made it to the state tournament 14 times in the schools 39 years of existence, winning it in 1988, and placing third in 2007 due to the luckiest shot ever made by a big homo named J.B. Korbe. The Spartans baseball team has also made the state tournament 5 times, winning it in 1992, runner-up in 1991, and consolation championship in 2007. The future looks bright for Spartan Athletics, as the class of 2010 has already completed a undefeated season and a CLC championship in basketball, and a CLC championship in baseball. This group won the state MSF baseball tournament when they wer 13, and took third in the state MBT tournament in the big class when they were 15. With the recent move down to 2A in baseball, it is almost indefinite that this group will win a state championship on the field and on the Court.
