Rocky Mountain Synod

The Rocky Mountain Synod is one of 65 synods in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The synod contains churches of the ELCA is the following states; Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Wyoming. It is the largest synod, geographically, in the lower 49 states. Rev. Allan C. Bjornberg has serves the Rocky Mountain Synod as its bishop since 1993. The synod is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
