The Rock the Bells Festival 2007 (aka Rock the Bells V) is the latest edition of Rock the Bells. The hip hop festival tour featuring Rage Against the Machine, Wu-Tang Clan, and Public Enemy will take place during the summer of 2007. Other announced artists on the tour are: Nas*, Cypress Hill, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, EPMD, MF Doom*, Pharoahe Monch, Sage Francis, Hieroglyphics*, Immortal Technique, Living Legends, Blackalicious*, The Coup*, MURS, Jedi Mind Tricks, Brother Ali, Cage, Mr. Lif, Grouch & Eligh, Hangar 18, Blueprint, Lucky I AM*, Erykah Badu, Rakim, Boot Camp Click, and just recently added, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Slum Village, UGK, David Banner, M.O.P and The Bash Bros.

Confirmed Dates/Locations: July 26 at the Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts in Mansfield, Massachusetts; July 28 at Randall’s Island , New York (Public tickets sold out in under 20 mins for this event. The venue holds 70,000 according krock radio in NYC.); August 11 at the Hyundai Pavilion at Glen Helen, San Bernardino, CA; and August 18 at McCovey Cove Parking Lot (near AT&T Park), San Francisco.

In addition to the New York and Californian dates, Rock The Bells will expand with additional dates where the Wu-Tang Clan will be joined by Nas as the co-headliner. (Rage Against The Machine will appear at the four aforementioned dates only. The Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival--which sold-out the Orange Pavilion in San Bernardino, CA recently--will also hit the road in the summer on a 10-city run across the continent joining up with two Rock the Bells dates in New York City and San Bernardino, CA. DJs on all dates are Mike Relm, C-Minus, Mark Luv, Icy Ice and Rocky Rock. The ROCK THE BELLS festivals will be hosted by Supernatural, Rahzel and Hi-Tek.

Due to the expanded lineup of artists set to perform and the number of tickets sold for the August 11th show in San Bernardino, CA, the festival has been moved from the NOS Events Center to the Hyundai Pavilion at Glen Helen. Ticket holders for the NOS Events Center will be honored at the Pavilion box office.
