Rock Revolution is an upcoming music video game developed by Zoe Games and HB Studios for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and Wii. The game will be published by Konami. It was first revealed on May 15, 2008.[1] It is similar to games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band, as the player plays along with music on specialized controllers directed by on-screen instructions. The controller will be a Guitar and Drum set peripheral on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while the Wii version will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for "an air-drum and air-guitar experience."[1] The DS version will utilize gestures performed on the touch screen, and will also support vocals using the system's internal microphone.

Like the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour, the game will also include a mode in which players can create their own tracks, along with a free form mode that lets players experiment with their musical instrument of choice.

Rock Revolution is unrelated to Konami's other guitar and drum simulation games, DrumMania and Guitar Freaks, which have been popular in Japan as well as in North America through importing.
