Rock Me Tonight was the platinum selling debut album from R&B/soul singer Freddie Jackson, released in 1985. The album yielded four Top-10 Singles on the R&B Charts, with the first two “You Are My Lady" and "Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)” reaching #1. The latter two “Love Is Just A Touch Away" and "He'll Never Love You,” peaked at #9 and #8 respectively. The album also contained a cover of the Billie Holliday classic "Good Morning Heartache." The success of "Rock Me Tonight" garnered Jackson a Grammy nomination in 1986 for Best New Artist, losing out to Sade.
