Roccaforte Ligure is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 110 km southeast of Turin and about 40 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 172 and an area of 20.6 km².[1]

The municipality of Roccaforte Ligure contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Avi, Borassi, Camere Vecchie, Campo dei Re, Chiappella, Chiesa di Rocca, and S.Martino.

Roccaforte Ligure borders the following municipalities: Borghetto di Borbera, Cantalupo Ligure, Grondona, Isola del Cantone, Mongiardino Ligure, and Rocchetta Ligure.
