Rocca Pietore is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 160 km north of Venice and about 40 km northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,388 and an area of 76.0 km².[1]

Rocca Pietore borders the following municipalities: Alleghe, Canale d'Agordo, Canazei, Colle Santa Lucia, Falcade, Livinallongo del Col di Lana, Pozza di Fassa, San Tomaso Agordino, Soraga, Vallada Agordina.
