Currently privately owned, and operated by the Midland Railway of Baldwin City, KS.
EMD model E8A – built in April, 1952
“Rocket” maroon, orange, and aluminum paint scheme
Photo taken by Russell Meier on November 6, 2004 south of Baldwin City, Kansas, on the Midland Railway. This was a photo runby for participants of the TRAIN convention charter.
This image was scanned from a Kodak Max Versatility ASA 400 print. The photo was cropped, and glare reduced before uploading to Wikipedia.
