Rochester, Michigan. The Rochester Hills Public Library is located on the banks of the Paint Creek in downtown Rochester, Michigan. It is built on reclaimed land from the Chapman Mill Pond, which disappeared in 1946, due to a dam breaking. The library was dedicated on November 1, 1992. Photo taken July 1, 2007.
