[edit] Article for speedy deletion
[edit] Playforyourclub
A tag has been placed on Playforyourclub, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. StephenBuxton (talk) 17:43, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Playforyourclub requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 17:48, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia Articles
Thank you for creating new articles to add to the encyclopedia. It is always great to see people that are interested in adding content for others to learn. However, please note that wikipedia is not a big great jumble of information. Articles have to look and sound like if they had appeared in any encyclopedia. That is why articles about opinions or lyrics are not encyclopedia worthy.
Please do not be offended. You can still add good information to Wikipedia as long as you can back up your information with sources from books, reliable internet sites, etc. Your last article seemed somewhat relevant enough to fit in Wikipedia, yet your way of writing it was very unencyclopedic. If you would like help on how to write quality articles, please visit wikipedia:help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeytheboy (talk • contribs) 19:22, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
