[edit] WikiProject

Hi there! I'm not sure if you know of Wikiprojects - it's a collabroative project on Wikipedia where everyone interested in the same ideas can collaborate to form better articles on the subject they are interested in. With that in mind, have a look at WP:BOOKS - you might be interested! Hawker Typhoon 19:13, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Signing talk pages

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Gwinva 18:57, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The House of the Seven Gables

Great work with The House of the Seven Gables (novel) - that article has been in need of some attention for some time. I am requesting, though, a citation for the quote from (presumably) Hawthorne that you used in the themes section. If you get a chance, could you plug in your source using in-line citation? Let me know if you need a hand. -Midnightdreary 17:34, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! I realise the quotation needs a citation; I'll look it up asap. I wrote the summary for another purpose a few months ago, and the book isn't to hand just now.Robina Fox 17:42, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
That works for me! Thanks so much! -Midnightdreary 01:30, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dornford Yates

As you seem to be a DY enthusiast, you might be interested in joining our Yahoo discussion group, which also has files of photos of Cockade. It was linked to the Wiki entry but someone deleted the link. RGCorris 16:21, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:The Castle of Mirrors cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:The Castle of Mirrors cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:05, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
