[edit] AMIA Bombing may be of interest
I made some edits to the AMIA Bombing page. Hezbollah was accused in involvement but there isn't any hard evidence. The page contained some POV statements that I removed. I think that it is still too biased, though. Count Iblis 16:05, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gaza Beach Massacre
The video is down, but even if it wasn't, might I suggest a different source? A video, especially as concerns air-to-surface warfare is probably not a good source, particularly as the Middle East is ripe with fake videos and fraud concerns Israeli, American or Jordanian action. Air-to-surface warfare is particularly so, since the ranges are so great. Additionally, it could have been a stray shell or (unlikely) a non-Israeli aircraft. Also, I am considering posting a neutrality tag on the article as well (It uses loaded language). Cheers. V. Joe 20:27, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:LocationPT.png
Thanks for uploading Image:LocationPT.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:07, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jerusalem
Was there a reason for adding it to [[Category:Cities in Palestine]]? Kari Hazzard (talk | contrib) 15:02, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Jerusalem has not been divided since the Six Day War. The whole city, not part of it, is currently in Israel. Also, please sign your comments with four tildae (~~~~) as indicated in WP:SIG. Kari Hazzard (talk | contrib) 15:13, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Can you cite a source for that claim? Kari Hazzard (talk | contrib) 15:41, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough, but UNSC Resolution 478 is not binding on member nations and does not reflect the current situation in the State of Israel. Kari Hazzard (talk | contrib) 15:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Binding no, but it was a Good Idea. Kari Hazzard (talk | contrib) 16:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Constitution of Palestine

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:PAgovernorates.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:PAgovernorates.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 16:43, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know the licence of Image:PAgovernorates.gif and don't know how to know. I brought it from www.arij.org. The bottom of the page says "all rights reserved". Robin Hood 1212 16:48, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2006 Israel-Lebanon crisis
I invite you to discuss the changes you've been making to this article in its talk page. --Pifactorial 20:14, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
I'd like to hear why you have chosen to use U.S. date format in an article on a non-U.S. subject, namely 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict. Please use wikidates appropriate to the subject. --Jumbo 13:00, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Becuz i write in US English
shouldn't or shouldn't i use the US date format? Robin Hood 1212 21:07, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Only in appropriate articles - such as those concerned with U.S. subjects. The same guidelines for use of U.S. or UK English in an article apply. Neither Lebanon nor Israel use U.S. date format. See Date format for a list of countries showing which date formats are used. --Jumbo 22:50, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Your prod of Palestinian textbooks
- Please include an edit summary when proposing articles for deletion.
- You seem to have left the message intended for the creator on the page itself; I've removed it. --N Shar 00:21, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
==Hi there. While I agree that you you added to the List of indigenous peoples page is true, I do not think it belongs at that page under the definition being used there. There are people there who are trying to insert Jews on the list and they do not meet the criteria as defined at the page either. Do you think you could also read the extensive RfC at the bottom of the Talk:List of indigenous peoples page before adding information? And please check the history of the article page to see what I was trying to have added before it was reverted by Jayjg. Thanks. Tiamut 23:01, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:City_of_Beirut.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:City_of_Beirut.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] WikiProject Palestine
I'm sending the invitation based on your good work creating Foreign relations of the Palestinian National Authority long ago. I've just touched it up recent and am about to do some merging / sort of content between it and a few of its sister articles in the relatively new category Category:Foreign_relations_of_the_Palestinian_National_Authority. --Abnn 23:27, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 3 areas
Governorates of the Palestinian National Authority says:
After the signing of the Oslo Accords, the Palestinian Authority was divided into three areas and 16 governorates.
However, it doesn't explain what the three areas are. --JWB 23:07, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- I meant Area A, B, and C --Robin Hood 1212 01:29, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
OK, that makes sense. Thanks for making the article explain it a bit more.
Actually, there are not good articles and maps on Areas A, B, and C, even though there are very detailed maps on other sites. We should have some. --JWB 02:29, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Route 193 (STM)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Route 193 (STM), by Corpx (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on Lebanon-France relations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Lincolnite (talk) 17:50, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
