[edit] License tagging for Image:Image-CSC Herme Masturbate-a-Thon Logo Original for Wiki.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Image-CSC Herme Masturbate-a-Thon Logo Original for Wiki.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:10, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Hello. I reverted your edits to Image:Masturbate-a-thon US.gif. It may not have been your intention, but you blanked the source and fair use information. WODUP 03:28, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hey Robert

Hi, I know you're newer to wikipedia (WP) and wanted to point out that generally images need to be freely licensed for use on the project or they are removed. There are certainly exceptions that may apply to the use of logos but you might consider what alternatives would be available. Benjiboi 23:04, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
