[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Squeak_logo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Squeak_logo.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 21:31, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Commercial use of Image:20070620 WMNR announcement that adventures in good music with karl haas will end.ogg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:20070620 WMNR announcement that adventures in good music with karl haas will end.ogg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:20070620 WMNR announcement that adventures in good music with karl haas will end.ogg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:20070620 WMNR announcement that adventures in good music with karl haas will end.ogg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 17:56, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

- Apologies. I now see what you have (obviously inadvertently) done. There was an existing image of Alexander Cockburn, 12th Baronet which was called "Image:Alexander_Cockburn.jpg". When you created an image of journalist Alexander Cockburn, you gave it the same name and did not heed the warning notice that you were about to overwrite an existing image. I only realised this after I have rewritten over your image and it's too late to undo. Had I realised before I would have uploaded the baronet's image with a different name. I suggest that you recreate your image with the name "Image:Alexander_Cockburn_journalist.jpg".Cutler (talk) 17:57, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
We've had the odd situation where the journalist's article has had the judge's photo and the judge's article has had the journalist's photo! I have deleted the upload of the journalist's photo and removed the judge's photo from the journalist's article, so you'll need to reupload the journalist's photo under a new name, as Cutler suggests.
