While we're glad to have you here, please not that this is not just a clearing house for external links. If you contribute an article, please make it an actual article. -- GWO
I understand. Is it considered better to have nothing at all rather than a link? -- RB
Yes, in general. External links aren't entries, but they might look like one on a page count, so it is confusing. --MichaelTinkler
Fair enough. -- RB
Now I have to decide whether or not to have a crack at Oor Wullie. He might stand out a bit from the rest of the stuff I've been writing, though that's never stopped me before. I suppose it will depend on whether or not I can find any history on him on the web. It's been a wee while since I've read the comics myself.... -- Paul Drye
I must admit I found Oor Wullie a bit hard going. But for some reason I kept coming back. Must have been that bucket. (And if that isn't reason alone for a page, I don't know what is.) -- RB
In an effort to clean up the main namespace, I've moved your old userpage to User:Robert Brook/old, as there's some edit history you might want to keep. Otherwise just delete it. --fvw* 12:13, 2004 Dec 31 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome...
Noticed your message on User_talk:Mrsteviec, just thought I'd say welcome to the (informal) guild of Inner London contributors/clean-up crew. I'm mostly working on Hackney and Islington boroughs (if you think Bermondsey needs work, see Stoke Newington, that needs a total rewrite that I keep putting off, not to speak of Shoreditch and Hoxton). I worry about stepping on toes too, but there are a number of us you can ask if you're not sure. I'm pretty new, but there's also User:Mrsteviec and User:Justinc who does a lot on Camden and Islington. Tarquin Binary 11:27, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
