[edit] Proposed deletion of Ian Kintzle

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ian Kintzle, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:24, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Are you sure the article is ready?

I noticed that you've removed the {prod} tag. You have the right to do that, but the tag gives you a week to improve the article, and removing it says that you are ready for a decision about deletion to be made. IMDB isn't considered a source that confirms notability; for that, you need multiple published sources, like newspaper and magazine articles about this person. If you have such sources that you are planning to add, it would be a good idea to restore the prod tag to allow you time to add them. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:43, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I may need some help with the article. Thank you so much for your patience.RobertPatla (talk) 23:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

The best help I can give you is to say that, as far as I can determine with a google search, this person doesn't seem to be so notable that an international encyclopedia would need an article about him; I couldn't find a single magazine article or newspaper article written about him. If a person isn't notable, there's nothing that can be done to improve the article in a way that will avoid deletion, but if his movie is a huge hit, he'll no doubt become famous, and then someone will create an article about him. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:52, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

maybe try googling Ian Michael Kintzle. the entire name. the rest of the cast of Supercross has Wikipedia's, some of which are far less notable then Ian Michael Kintzle. He was also on every episode of Con on Comedy Central, but on IMDB it only lists one. He also hosted the Urban World Film Festival on MTV with numberous celebrities.RobertPatla (talk) 00:14, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, when you find two or three reliable sources, feel free to bring them to my attention, and I can always undelete the article. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:25, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
