Just as a follow-up to this, when uploading images, you need to put a license/copyright tag on them. If you know they were first published in the US before 1923, you can put {{PD-US}} on them. If you don't put any license/copyright tag on images, you will get the bot-generated warnings, and the images will get deleted a week later, unless someone (several people in this case, including me) notices and gets them undeleted. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

I notice that you have been making a lot of edits to thhis list and I wanted to let you know that I am working on version 2 in my sanbox. Feel free to contribute if you like. I have tried to monitor the main page for any changes. At some point I would like to replace the existing article with the one that I am creating but please let me know if you have any objections.
