[edit] Re: Siljander

Welcome to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a platform for original research; we only write about what other people have already written about. Therefore, verifiability is extremely important in every article, especially in articles about living people. If it is an important subject, i.e. Siljander's religious beliefs, then it shouldn't be hard to cite a reputable source. However, a private Angelfire website is not a reputable source. --Tom (talk - email) 00:36, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Fredric U. Dicker

A tag has been placed on Fredric U. Dicker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Request for Citation on Dick Morris' article, Guest commentator and political prognosticator section

I added this subject on the discussion section of Dick Morris' article. Can you help me figure out the best way to add that citation? I do not want to add multiple citations cluttering the end of the paragraph. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Docjay8406 (talkcontribs) 00:47, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mike Huckabee

Sorry, my mistake - I didn't read the whole diff page and misread the first line to be a vandalism change. Thanks for correcting my error! --DonVincenzo (talk) 18:44, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Jason Chaffetz

A tag has been placed on Jason Chaffetz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Crusio (talk) 19:08, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
