Hey Rob. Sorry I'm for:
- running out of Wikipedia like I did
- not getting back to you in a long time
- and for not having the time to edit
Some real life stuff came up and I had to go take care of it. I'll try getting to it now that I'm a little less busy. semper fi — Moe 21:41, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Zelda Weapons
Hi Rob I saw your comments on the GTA Gangs articles - I've been taking a look at this (scroll down and take a list of the bottles you can encounter).
I left this comment on the talkpage. please chip in with comments if you have a moment. After a spot of dinner, I'm going to try and kick off a wider debate about those sorts of articles on the Computing gaming wiki-project. --Larry laptop 19:52, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Re: Crufty minigame Mario Party list
I also believe that the list doesn't belong there, but I was in a conflict with Henchman 2000 over it, and I've given up on it because he keeps adding the list back. –Llama mansign here 01:06, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- By the way, the list in Mario Party 5 got added back again. I would revert it, but I honestly don't want to be involved in this edit war anymore. –Llama mansign here 20:37, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
I am not just going to sit and let a sentence be used to describe mini games. I am considering writing a paragraph about them. Please tell me if you would prefer a list or a paragraph a sentence will not do. Henchman 2000 09:13, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
I agree that a List is way too much however i also agree that one sentence is not enough. remember the effort programers went through to give all gamers a pleasureable experiance. what we can do is state that mini games range from (for example) running after a ball to smashing post etc. also they require that the player uses a range of skilles from (for example) stratigy to aiming to reflexes etc. in other words we dont need a entire list just a simple break down of what to expect from the mini games Maverick423 14:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Warning
I am the one who should be warning you on your talk. THe next time either you or Scepia re-adds the sentence about mini games, you will be reported to an admin. Wikipedia is not a ppaper encyclopedia, there is no limit to the size of number of articles on the encyclopedia. Henchman 2000 13:21, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Warning 2
I have not forgotten you. You've always edited my crap, and I've edited yours. It's been months but I still haven't forgotten. Simply apollogize for removing every single article I've published(regardless of what those pages said, and I will leave you alone for good. It's simple enough Robby... YOU DECIDE. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Josiah1107 (talk • contribs) 05:51, 26 January 2007 (UTC).

Your point being ... good faith? They are lying, I'm not. Explicate. Mundster 22:35, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Film adaptations of franchises
Usually, when film adaptations of franchises are announced, it is too soon to create a film article right away. A lot of projects tend to lapse and never get made, but it is encyclopedic to record that an attempt has been made. Ideally, film articles are created when films enter production, though they can be made sooner. A lot of early news of film adaptations are introduced on the respective source's article, then when production takes place, the content can be forked off into its own article. At least, that's how I've seen it done here. :) —Erik (talk • contrib) - 17:49, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
SH influences and trivia
Regarding your action of slating the above mentioned page for deletion, I'd like to ask that next time you inform those working on it (as the template itself suggested you do). Right now a couple of other users and I are watering the list down to a few key points and then re adding them to their respective pages where they were moved from to begin with. You stated that you felt that no other games have influences and trivia, to which I'd point out that you're wrong, but I do agree that the influences and trivia for some of these games has spun wildly out of control. Next time I'd imagine that discussion and consensus would be a better tactic than outright deletion as some of this info can be salvaged. --Thaddius 15:48, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Re: Pedro Morales
It is indeed a stub, the article proper is very short. I have to admit I removed the stub tag solely on the length of the article, without proper checking for content. Good call! GregorB 00:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Article edits
I've noticed you spend a bit of time editing gaming articles etc and adding unsourced tags to them. While you are at it, you might want to check them for trivia sections which probably should be removed or worked into the article text per WP:TRIV. I don't spend alot of time on these articles, but if you do it is something to keep in mind.--Isotope23 20:50, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: Problems with a user
It's not quite personal attacky, but it's rather harsh. I'm not denying how direct the comments are, though. I'm hoping that we can all work together, but at this rate I can see bad things happening. If we have to do it, we can not unprotect the article for a long period of time; however long that will have to take. ★MESSEDROCKER★ 22:25, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Lists are not exactly neutrality problems in my opinion, however they ought to be prose because prose is always better than long-winded laundry lists (there's also 70 new games -- that'd be a very long list!). Also, I've noticed The Henchman seems to source the information with screenshots, which is a borderline violation of Wikipedia:No original research since people can draw pretty much anything from pictures. Anyways, would you mind supplying some pages where he has been edit warring, and diffs if possible? I think a Request for Comment may be a good course of action here. —Signed, your friendly neighborhood MessedRocker. 00:13, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Response Towards Everything
Look I'm sorry I've personally attacked you, and everything about that. I guess I've just been angry for awhile about you getting my page deleted a few months back. I'm sorry for making threats, but the fact is you didn't have to bring in an admin... I'll stop, and it will be the end to it. But please don't refer to me as simply a "vandal." I am not a vandal, and I don't go around deliberately vandalising people. I am sorry for what I've done, and please don't regard this as a threat because it's not. I simply have held a grudge towards you for deleting an article I worked hard on, which was educational, and in know way depreciative... Anyway besides all that, you understand, 1) I'm sorry. 2) I wish you'd apollogize as well 3) I'll stop editing your page, and 3) This is not a threat, so please don't misinterpret this message. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Josiah1107 (talk • contribs) 06:36, 27 January 2007 (UTC).

Edit Warring
What can we all possibly do to stop you edit waring over trivial issues and refusing to change your mind no matter what they propose? I am re adding the examples of mini games because, while someone can edit them to their favourite, it hasn't happened. I am not going to let you start another edit war over another trivial issue. Before you can, you will be reported to an admin and I will request you are banned from editing Mario party articles. You have been warned! Henchman 2000 11:17, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Re: Vandalism edit summaries
You have been accusing me of vandalism, as I have said before, I am not vandalising articles and NEVER intend to do so. Who cares that you consider adding a trivial sentence into an article vandalism, no one else does, especially if it is relevant information. You are the one vandalising here, if any of us are. I am re adding these examples as they are such a trivial issue, who cares that someone CAN change the examples, no one HAS done so and you fail to realise that. If you want to complain, complain to Llama man for telling me I was allowed to put examples in the paragraph. If you remove them once more you will be reported to an admin as I will NOT allow you to start ANOTHER unnecessary edit war over ANOTHER trivial issue!!! Henchman 2000 18:58, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

re:Wrestling photos/tag teams and stables
Yes, I can help with improving articles and giving you names to be added to your list. Something I haven't been able to do is find a good place to get Images for articles. Most Images about wrestling now pretty much have to be public domain or they get deleted because a rule on Fair Use is that it's only fair use if no free alternative is available. The only problem is finding those free alternatives. I'll start looking though. semper fi — Moe 20:57, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

NCIS episodes
I have discovered that List of NCIS episodes links to articles about every single episode (there are many). None establish notability, none have references, all contain (at most) plot summary and quotes (plus a sprinkling of original research-type observations). I tagged a few of them before I thought there must be a better way to go about getting these AfD posted and merged or whatever. I'm not really sure. As you have been a pundit in similar areas of concern in the past I am hoping you might want to take a look at the assemblage and handle it somehow. Thanks. I am giving you one last day to give me a source that there is a consensus against them, if you cannot, I will re add the examples. Henchman 2000 09:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, maybe it's a day overdue, but I'm against minigame examples, for one. If you want reasons why I suggest you look at the Talk Pages of just about every single article where you've raised this issue. Gene S. Poole 01:29, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Bio tagging
Just FYI, you needn't add {{Reqphoto}}, as the functionality is already built into the WPBiography tag; you just add "|needs-photo=yes" to it. Also, if you see a DEFAULTSORT in there it should almost certainly remain at the very top; they are often used to fix wonky sort results, e.g. for Asian family-name-first names or ones with punctuation or non-English characters, and one would want them to work with the WPBIO tag, too. You might also like the {{FindSources}} tag. While originally intended for AfD posts, it provides a good starting place for people to look for material to expand a stub (if it is used sensibly - if the article is about Robert Smith (skydiver), it would obviously need a search term something like Robert+Smith+skydiving lest it return mostly results for the gothic music singer of the same name; with a name like Bocephus Yasseltov, less specificity is generally needed. :-) Lastly, and I'm sorry if this sounds like a lecture, if the article is already tagged with a WikiProject banner that is more subject-specific, it's courteous/helpful to put the WPBiography tag underneath it; any activity on the article is far more likely to happen (and be productive) from the more-specific project. See Talk:Fu Che-wei for example of all of the above. Aside from all 'at, glad to see someone else doing this tagging. It's rote work, but someone has to do it! — SMcCandlish [talk] [contrib] ツ 05:51, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- (Also posted this on my talk page in response to your message there, but needn't make you go looking for it:)
- Glad to be helpful. :-) One thing I do in this vein is remember a page with a"typical" tag of this sort, and simply copy-paste it from the original article, which I keep open in another window. I use Talk:Marlon Manalo for this purpose, for sportspeople, and paste in the WPBIO banner from there, but remove the attention needed parameter if the article is not flagged with any dispute tags. I find that pretty expedient. I'm sure others use a text file with commonly-used snippets like that, or a macro. Any method works, as long as there's a method. I also find it helpful to keep a /Bookmarks page in my userspace. You might find useful-ish things in mine. It's hardly comprehensive, and has a lot of stuff relating to personal wiki-projects, but the templates toward the top may be of use in particular. — SMcCandlish [talk] [contrib] ツ 06:16, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- PS: I'm not so sure I recommend {{FindSources}} any longer. Someone has severely monkeyed with it in the last day or so, and it appears to be malfunctional. Rats. — SMcCandlish [talk] [contrib] ツ 06:23, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to User talk:Isotope23
RobJ, I think that this is out of hand. I was talking to Isotpe because people are calling me a meatpuppet. It seems to me that you are using every trick in the book to either get myself and Henchman indefblocked or make the entire community treat us like one person. We have genuinely similar views and I am not being controlled or bribed in any way to support Henchman. For instance, I think that you are making fair points on Henchman's Rfc. RobJ, I ask you kindly to stop encouraging people to treat us unfairly and I also ask that you strike out your comment about meatpuppetry on the AfD as it will only encourage the closing admin to discount my vote, which would be unjust as we are 2 different people. Bowsy (review me!) 11:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
When did you encourage people to ignore my vote? Well... when you tried to use the sock case to condemn me and Henchman as meatpuppets in the AfD, of course! And when you seemed to support Geoff B's jumping to conclusions about Henchman! Bowsy (review me!) 19:16, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and why is it that sharing an opinion BY COINCIDENCE means that we should be treated like one user? It's not the computer that counts! This is an unacceptable personal attack, RobJ. Bowsy (review me!) 19:21, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Here is a quote from Isotope on this matter (Pay particular attention to the bolded areas):
Based on what I saw on the talkpage here I wanted to clarify something. There was a sockpuppet case which I closed with the finding that they were probably not puppets. Henchman 2000 (talk · contribs) and Bowsy (talk · contribs) are free to participate in the same AfD's and talkpage discussions. If they want to have the same position on something, that is fine. As I said in my closing notes, they need to be careful because "soliciting a person sharing your computer to show up to articles for deletion debates or content conflicts on articles and support your position is probably not going to be looked upon very favorably by the community". That was an opinion on my part that such actions may induce a closing admin to ignore one of their !votes at discretion. It was not permission to harass them for participating in the same AfDs. Unless they are actively working in tandem to circumvent WP:3RR though, I don't think the accusations of puppetry are warrented.
If you don't believe Isotope said this, ask him/her yourself. Bowsy (review me!) 14:27, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to Elina Linna
Hello, I noticed your edit to Elina Linna, marking it as unreferenced. I just wanted you to know that while I intend to get there in time, I create lots of stub articles on Swedish MPs - Elina Linna was one of them. The next time you come across one and feel the urge to tag it, reference it instead - the reference used is in all one-liner Swedish MP stubs is the official website of the Swedish Riksdag. Google "riksdagen <article name>" and it's almost always the top result. Remember {{Cite web}} for nice ref formatting. Happy sourcing! Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 22:15, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
