Home Energy is bimonthly magazine, published by Energy Auditor & Retrofitter, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization around the U.S. about conserving energy, and energy efficiency in the household, and other buildings. With recent Climate Change rising gas prices, and so forth, Home Energy hopes to see more people ride the Bandwagon and try to save money by conserving energy. Home Energy's Headquarters reside in Berkley, California. The magazine's articles are technically oriented and aimed at energy efficiency professionals and building scientists. However the information is generally helpful for anyone who works on houses. The Home Energy website has articles from current and older issues, as well as a DIY section for consumers.

Home Energy Magazine's mission is to "disseminate objective and practical information on residential energy efficiency, performance, comfort, and affordability." Most of the articles in Home Energy Magazine comes directly from people that are reaserching and employing innovative design and and remodeling practices. The organization remains non-profit, devoted to getting information out to the public.
