Robot control means not only robotic arm control, there are a whole lot of things like mobile robot control, dynamic legged systems etc.The name of the present article should be changed from "Robot Control" to "Robotic Arm Control" or "Manipulator Control".But then we'll have to include a lot of addictional things about control...DH parameter is about joint-link control only,we have to care about actuator-joint mechanics too. Also, control is not only about mechanics! And,Robot kinematics,Arm solution,Inverse kinematics seems to be redundant topics. Also,D-H parametric notation is a very important and popular way of doing manipulator mechanics. Why not start a seperate article for it?--Sahodaran 11:40, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Maybe it is an option to keep the article for robot control, but update it thorougly. There is a need for a decent structuring of robotics articles. Since kinematics and dynamics are used in robot control it can be sufficient to link to robot kinematics and to robot dynamics. In these articles we can go deeper to the details because when you're only interested in the control of a robot, the exact details of the kinematics are not all important. For the current state of the article I propose to merge the DH convention in a seperate article Robotics conventions where one of the sections can be Link Frame conventions.--RobotNick 15:50, 13 April 2007
