To-do list for RoboJackets:

Here are some tasks you can do:

    [edit] Notability and deletion

I contend the deletion on the grounds that this organization has been around for many years and does alot to help out both the Robotics community and the development of the students involved within it. I have been a part of the organization for many years now on both the leadership side and the community side. The things that the RoboJackets do are noteworthy and many of the members put in many selfless hours to help out new students and to learn more about robotics.

Please see WP:NOTE and consider the notability of this article for an encyclopedia. Ta! Pedro |  Chat  19:53, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Even then, the entry is literally a copy/paste from the site itself. That's a no-no. Even if it's considered worthy, in it's current state, it'll most likely be deleted because it's a copy/paste. At the very least you'll have to rewrite it signifigantly. HalfShadow 19:56, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
We will update the entry with our own wording (I am one of the members that wrote the entry text in the first place) and thus felt that it would be an acceptable placeholder until we could provide more content and have other team leaders make writeups on their respective sections.
That still does not address the notability concerns. Please read Wikipedia's policies at that link. Regards, Iknowyourider (t c) 20:05, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

The organization donates both time and money to schools in the local (and sometimes distant) areas so that they can have the opportunities to compete in robotics competitions and develop math, science, and technology skills. We have won several awards, one of the most prominent being a volunteer award for all of these efforts that I have mentioned. The organization continues to grow and fund new teams and teach new school about robotics. Shtylman 20:13, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Started the article cleanup. I too am a member, will keep conflicts of interest in mind, thanks! --Cinexero 21:25, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
