Talk:Robin Hood index
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The Robin Hood index is typically used in applications related to socio-economic class (SES) and health." I discovered this when I was googling, but I'm not exactly sure if there's any logic behind that - it seems like it would be useful in other applications too.
I'd also like to add an image similar to the one on this page [1], which shows the relationship between the Gini index and the Robin Hood index, but that one's probably copyrighted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by B5d (talk • contribs) 04:45, 27 November 2005.
Mathemathically more correct is: ”taken from those above the avarage incom and given to those bellow” instead ”taken from the richer half of the population and given to the poorer half”.
