What is Zubrin's background and education? Where did he get his degrees and where did he work as an engineer? Just curious.

According to this site [1] he has a B.A. degree in mathematics from the University of Rochester, a M.S. in Nuclear engineering, a M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics, and a Ph.d in Nuclear engineering, all from the University of Washington. He worked as a senior and staff engineer at Lockheed Martin (formerly Martin Marrieta)

==Notes==
#^  Email from Robert Zubrin to Tim McMahon dated 9-18-2003 requesting book review.

I don't understand it, and i'm sure it doesn't belong in an article. An explanation is in order, tho secondary to the need for its removal.

[edit] Date of Birth?

Does anybody know when Zubrin was born?

[edit] Better Image?

The image of Zubrin makes him look like a madman, or a MySpace user. Could someone please find/take a better image?

[edit] LaRouche connection?

Why was the LaRouche connection removed on March 22nd?

I went to high school with Robert Zubrin. He graduated Great Neck North High School in 1970. Great Neck, New York.

FYI. That isn't Robert Zubrin's website. Its a redirector website for UniverseToday/Universe Daily/Universe Today's spam campaign spanning many months on wikipedia. If anyone has any question, see my talk page. Kevin_b_er 07:05, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Biocentrism

In the case there is intelligent life in Mars, and superior to ours, I hope they will think Zubrin's biocentric enough.

Well, there is no intelligent life on Mars, so the question becomes whether Martian bacterium should stand in the way of terraforming the planet. --198.232.63.57 (talk) 21:49, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mexico

This scientist wrote that the USA government GAVE Mexico billions of dollars on a certain afternoon some 10 years ago. This scientist certainly is an arrogant and ignorant ape. When in its history American government gave anything to anyone??? Even during the 2004 Tsunami disaster it was a pain to get a few million dollars from USA!!! USA as the majority of countries LEND. Most of times it is the banking classes who lend the money. And with INTEREST. Not the government. Unless the bankers are the government. Well in the case of USA, the bankers are also the government!

So I ask this scientist to campaign for his government stop spending its money with technology used for killing people around the world and invest in technology related to space.

[edit] Frank Black, etc

I notice somebody just added a claim that Frank Black wrote a song about Zubrin, and cited the lyrics as a source; I scoffed. Wrongly, as it turns out. I couldn't find a good citation that he wrote the song about Zubrin, and the lyrics clearly require some interpretation. But Frank Black listed it as one of his top 5 books. Together with the title anagram, I believe the claim, but I'd love for us to have a better source. William Pietri 19:29, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

I edited the text alongside the link to the lyrics at frankblack.net - the song's called Robert Onion (as correctly noted in the section above) and not Robert Sweet Onion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.233.183.26 (talk) 14:46, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
