[edit] Modrow’s claim

According to a personal communication of John Modrow, author of How to become a schizophrenic, "for his effort in writing Mad in America Whitaker received a death threat: he was told that if he ever wrote a book like that again 'they' would go after him and his family".

I really don't know what to say about such a claim! It would be nice to have a statement by Whitaker himself. Only if it is true it merits inclusion in this biographical article. —Cesar Tort 19:38, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
