[edit] Publicity

More than a biography this seems like thinly disguised publicity that could have benn written by an E! publicist. Esteban, NY —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.190.230.62 (talk) 16:23, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

Exactly what I was thinking. --Adoniscik 23:23, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
agree!! (Raniya 23:05, 26 January 2006 (UTC))
I agree too. I might work on fixing it if/when I get the time. — Frecklefoot | Talk 16:03, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
My take is this is a commercial advert by the doctor's clinic. -- Tawker 01:02, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
It's possible, but I would guess it's just someone who thought they were being helpful by adding info. In either case, there is no permission granted to reproduce the blurb from the website here. -- Ckessler 01:07, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
This entry is copied verbatim from his website at http://www.drrobertrey.com/pages/about.html -- insanit 04:26, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Board certification

He is so dedicated to both his practice and his family. He is also known for correcting other surgeon's work who are board certified - so it is definitely not the gold standard. A written and oral exam in no way reflects talent in cosmetic surgery. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.4.247.12 (talk) 03:49, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Unless you have a cite for this, it cannot be added to the article, per WP:V and WP:OR. Ckessler 05:40, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] content & website

Believe me I'm all for writing bios on Plastic Surgeons (I've started 4) but there really was a great deal attached to this entry which is not relevent to Dr. Rey's professional activity or notoriety. No disrespect intended, but I think the only notable thing is really just his participation on "Dr. 90210" rather then any professional contribution to surgery or medicine. Much beyond his 90210 gig and skeletal bio data and this entry begs the question of what he should in fact be wiki-fied for.

I also removed the two links to Dr. Rey's website. Personal websites (which are essentially commercial/advertising portals) have been frowned upon in articles about other living physicans. It's prob. best to not even give the appearence for wikipedia as a referral source to his private practice.Droliver 06:39, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
