Talk:Robert Koldewey

[edit] Building this article around the "Hanging Gardens" is nonsense
Koldewey excavated something he thought could have been a foundation or structure relating to the Hanging Gardens - but there is absolutely no evidence that it was. There's no real evidence that it even actually existed, apart from the references in a few Greek works.
The article should be structured more around Koldewey's work at Babylon and other sites, like the important North Syrian site of Zincirli. Leave out the sensational "Hanging Gardens" stuff. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 136.152.136.119 (talk) 07:40, 7 February 2007 (UTC).
