Removing the quotes was unnecessary, as they are a vital and interesting insight into the critical context of the work. More importantly, in relation to Jacks' statement, it's a concise summary of what he thinks he is doing. The article as a whole is hardly unreferenced, even they weren't in the usual format. If you don't like it, fix it, don't just vandalize.

I invite the use of quotes and references in context. The quotes section had no context in its original form. It was simply a list of quotes, like one would expect to promote a movie or a book.
