Hewsen is not notable, no reliable sources. He is co-founder and president of the Society for the Study of Caucasia. which is not notable. Gazifikator 15:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Why such a prominent scholar is not notable? --Grandmaster 04:42, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Because he just isn't. I study Caucasian history extensively and I've never heard his work, research, or name mentioned in any type of article, book, document, etc.

And where is he a leading authority, scholar, or professor of South Caucasian History, as I have mentioned before I have never heard his name in anything, except from an Azerbaijani ultra-nationalist wikipedian vandalist.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.174.192.171 (talkcontribs) 14:22, 22 October 2007

Please do not attack Wikipedians! I have rolled back your changes because they were useful in providing context. Publishing an atlas and having published many academic articles is sufficient for him to be considered an expert. I have removed the word "leading" as that has yet to be established with multiple sources. As your recent contribs indicate you have an agenda, I strongly suggest that you slow down and use the talk before you change articles. John Vandenberg 07:04, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
