This is a pretty poor entry for such a prestigious educational instiution. I have put up a photo I took, which is a slight improvement. Mcai7et2 23:58, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

I think most of this article is pretty poor. Even the Grammar have done a better job! I've rewritten some paragraphs, and added some references. More history of the school, less recent debating and rugby triumphs (they're still obsessed with them - it's like schools'n'ospitals to a Government minister), some photos, and more references would be a start.

As the creator of this wiki entry i think its time to bring back Ryan Cheyne. Look i started the page its only fair i should get my way.

I'm wondering how much of this article is encyclopedia-style and how much is an account of the college's achievements, e.g. the comparison of the number of Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold candidates presented by Robert Gordon's and Aberdeenshire respectively! --Oxonian2006 08:10, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Right All none sense can go in this special nonesense page http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Robert_Gordon%27s_Colledge This is from the uncyclopedia i would prefer if u abide the Uncyclopedia ruels if its funny put it in.

An anonymous user suggested the following

One momentous event in the history of the College was when pupil Scott Massie decided to bring his own faeces into the upstairs common room and smear it everywhere around the room, including the tiles above the roof of the room. This event took place on the 11th of May 2004.

In the unlikely event of this proving worthy of inclusion, it will require some hefty proof. HTH HAND --Phil | Talk 11:22, May 23, 2005 (UTC)

That Scott Massie story is true! I was there —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.215.149.96 (talk) 13:30, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

True but uninteresting. I guess you had to be there... -- Derek Ross | Talk 03:57, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

I agree. I know its funny to have in-jokes, but they don't belong here. --The Wizard of Magicland 18:20, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Nice photographs of the college as it was in 1960, by Iain Reid:

John Strachan, the singer of bothy ballads, was educated at Gordon's. Ogg 12:03, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Deleted a bunch of stuff that included in jokes and obviously has no place here.--The Wizard of Magicland 08:53, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Assess

An important school housed in a building designed by William Adam which was commandeered by troops during the Jacobite rising. More content and proper referencing needed to advance to a B. I would have expected more alumni for a school of this stature. Dahliarose 09:09, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scotland the What

I think this needs a bit more verification...

Despite the reference, this claim makes me very uneasy. I could have sworn that these two were former pupils of the Gordon Schools, Huntly. -- Derek Ross | Talk 20:26, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
