[edit] Conrad in Wild Wild West Movie?

Didn't Robert Conrad play President Grant in the Wild Wild West movie?

According to www.imdb.com, 'Robert Conrad was initially approached by Barry Sonnenfeld to make a cameo appearance as President Ulysses Simpson Grant. He turned down the offer after reading the script due to what he felt was its poor quality and lack of respect for the original series it was based on.'. PolarisSLBM 17:17, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Stuntmen's hall of fame

He's not the only actor inducted into the Stuntman's Hall of Fame. He's an honorary inductee like John Wayne, Buster Keaton, and Kirk Douglas. Static Universe talk|edits 04:56, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] another TV show

I remember Conrad starring in a short-lived TV series call "Assignment Vienna" in the early seventies. He played some sort of spy whp owned a bar. I remember his character drove a Corvette (in Vienna Austria!) Anybody else remember this one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeraldcole (talk • contribs) 18:04, August 28, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A Singer?

My mom has some old Spanish oldies albums from the 60s/70s and one particular song is billed to "Tom Lopaka." Since this was the name of a Robert Conrad character, I am now curious if this was Conrad singing. The male singing voice is highly accented when singing in Spanish, obviously NOT a native speaker. Anyone?

I believe I remember an interview with him where he talked about singing early in his career, before coming to Hollywood I think. So it may be possible.--209.7.195.158 (talk) 17:27, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Year of birth

Disputed year of birth -- most likely born in 1929 as per The Globe (tabloid) & Intelius search. If he were really born in 1935 he would have been 16 at the time he first married -- exceedingly unlikely. Globe tabloid gave his age at 78 (his birthday is on March 1), as did Intelius search of Robert Conrads in California; there were no 72 year olds. I will check Intelius on March 1 to see if age changes to 79 (Intelius updates age annually automatically by date of birth). 216.194.2.181 (talk) 17:10, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
