He is mentioned on the Recent deaths page as having died on May 22 2007. If he's notable enough to be mentioned there then why is he not notable enough to be mentioned here? --Candlewicke Consortiums Limited 17:25, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Article created. Some people might be wary of creating a biography of a murderer. Something to do with the victims being offended, perhaps. Arbiteroftruth 22:40, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
I think that some detail of his crime will be necessary very soon - as it stands, I see no reason for this man to have an article, he's simply not notable enough. Considering the number of murders in the US each year, and the not inconsiderable number of executions that have occurred since the reinstatement of capital punishment, unless his crimes are particularly notable in some way, I would be surprised if this page was allowed to survive. Just because an individual gets a one-line mention in a recent deaths page, it doesn't automatically follow that they deserve the much greater recognition of having their own article. --Tailkinker 07:38, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
He was mentioned in the Washington Post's "Express" newspaper yesterday morning (hence why I now know about him) which mentioned that he was pushing for himself to be executed. He dropped his appeals. The article also states he is the first person executed in AZ since 2000. You can view this [[1]] on page 6. --sumnjim talk with meยทchanges 13:13, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Had this man's last words been "Long live the Dewey Decimal System!" or "Support the Flat Tax!" or some such non-sports sentiment would he still be considered notable? Probably not. BeeDub65 10:21, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
