There is little firm evidence for his date of death:

Holley & Chalk's The Alphabet of the Saints says that he died in the first quarter of 1909.

Arsenal - The Football Facts and Arsenal Who's Who, both give the year as 1907, as does www.allfootballers.com

The Scottish FA site[1] states that he "was dead before 1930"

The London Hearts site[2] gives the date of death as 1930.

In the absence of any firmer evidence, the article gives the date of death as 1907. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 22:30, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
