[edit] Notability and conflict of interest
The notability of this company has been disputed but the context for this dispute needs review. Robbinex is quite a notable company but due to Wikipedia's lack of information on the company's specifc industry within Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Mergers and Acquisitions as a whole, it is easy to overlook it's importance.
For example, Robbinex was created in 1974 and still exists to this day with multiple offices and 20 someodd employees. While to the average person this seems relatively insignificant, to a business intermediary or person involved in M & A this is quite impressive seeing as companies that do this work generally consist of 1 or 2 employees and only last 12-18 months before capitulating. Robbinex is one of the very few exceptions to this lifespan ans size in the world at large. Robbinex is also the only Canadian company of this kind with offices in the USA.
I would like the Robbinex article to remain in place for at least several days so that I have enough time to update the Wikipedia articles on related subjects, such as M & A, so that Robbinex's importance is established within an appropriate context.
Also, citations for M&A and related industries are hard to come by seeing as most literature on the subject is presented in conferances by organizations like the M&A Source, International Corporate Finance Group or the International Business Brokers Association, all of which are world-wide organizations with thousands of members. Since articles on groups such as these don't exist either, proper citation will also require some time.
Thank you for your consideration.

In the past few days I have updated M&A section of wikipedia itself as well as added several articles that relate to M&A. While I have accomplished a fair deal, there is still much to be done before the true importance of Robbinex can be fully understood. While the M&A section now contains more information that asserts the importance of Robbinex, there is still much more that can be done as M&A does not have any information regarding the educational processes that are ever so important in the industry. Specifically regarding M&A Source, the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and Certified Business Broker's (CBI) licencing to name a few. More time will be required for these updates and I would like to request that Robbinex recieve the tag "under construction" for the time being. Thank you.

I removed the "dated prod" template for the following reasons:
- The company is notable, based on its international presence, its mentions in the media, and its business innovations.
- While Markrobbins12 appears to work for, or have a vested interest in Robbinex, many of his claims are well referenced. Further verification and cleanup by other editors can help ensure NPOV.
- As a knowledgeable insider, Markrobbins12 may have desperately needed insight into the mergers and acquisitions industry. He should be allowed time to learn Wikipedia policies and style guidelines. In the long term his contributions may prove very valuable to Wikipedia.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Robbinex Logo.gif
Image:Robbinex Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
