This person is notable, as he is the physiotherapist for the largest football club in England. He has been mentioned in a number of third-party sources ([1] [2] [3] and more), so he is inherently notable. – PeeJay 23:22, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

  • I hope you put those references into the article, it would certainly help establish his notability. RMHED (talk) 02:20, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Working for the largest football club in England is not an assertion of notability. In fact, as we all know, notability guidelines require the sources to discuss the given subject in depth, rather than just mentioning it. This is not the case. --Angelo (talk) 09:07, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
      • I am aware of that. I have a link to an interview he did with Physioroom.com, but that site is on the Spam blacklist. There are other pages that document some of the work he has done during his time at Old Trafford, such as link #1 above, and I will endeavour to include the information from those pages in the article. – PeeJay 11:36, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
        • First, being the main subject of an interview is not an assertion of notability. An interview with me was published by a regional newspaper of Tuscany, but personally I don't think to fit the notability guidelines :) In any case, I am going to open an AFD to debate more thoroughly (and possibily more generically) about notability of football physios. --Angelo (talk) 13:05, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
          • Fair enough. I have updated the article to include some info on other work he has done. Basically, it's my opinion that he passes WP:BIO on the basis that he has had significant coverage in third-party publications, particularly the BBC, The Times, The Independent and The Guardian. – PeeJay 13:09, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
