RoboBlitz is a third person puzzle based game for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360. It is available for 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade, or $15 USD on the PC. It was released on November 7, 2006, developed by Naked Sky Entertainment.

The player controls Blitz, a robot who attains special upgrade weapons and powers to fight his foes, based upon how much "Upgradium" he can find in the game. Special powers include unique weapon, energy and movement upgrades.

As of November 2006, this game was downloadable on the Steam digital download system. It was released for Xbox Live Arcade on December 6, 2006.

RoboBlitz uses a middleware tool developed by Allegorithmic to store its textures procedurally.[1] This technique is used to make the game file size smaller (the actual game is less than 50 megabytes on Xbox Live.)

[edit] Reception

RoboBlitz has been nominated for the 2007 Independent Games Festival for both the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and Excellence in Visual Art awards.[2]
