Robina is the third largest suburb on the Gold Coast of Australia and 'is designed to be a people place'. The Robina Town Centre shopping centre and Bond University are located in Robina.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's a Singaporean Developer by the name of Dr. Robin Loh viewed the scrubland west of Broadbeach to one day be a 'world standard master planned community providing everything required by a modern society'.
Since it's population of zero in the 1980's Robina has experienced a strong growth to a population of over 30,000 people, largely due to interstate migration.
