Robin Lloyd-Jones (born 1934) is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction who grew up in India before being educated at Cambridge University then moving to Scotland to work as an Education Adviser for Strathclyde Region.
He is a former President of both the Scottish branch of PEN and the Association of Scottish Writers, was for several years a tutor in Creative Writing at Glasgow University, and has been actively involved as Convener of the Scottish Writers-in-Prison campaign [1].
His published fiction includes Lord of the Dance (for which he won the BBC Bookshelf First Novel Award), Fallen Angels: Stories of Los Gamines, Dreamhouse and Fallen Pieces of the Moon.
His radio work includes his play, Ice in Wonderland, which won the Radio Times Best Drama Script award in 1992 [2].
Lloyd-Jones is additionally the author of several works of non-fiction.
