Robidoux Pass, about nine miles west of Gering, Nebraska, is a pass that was on the route of the Oregon Trail.

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1961.[1][3]

Its significance, as of designation in 1961, was described as:

Robidoux Pass was a significant landmark on the Oregon Trail. In 1848, an Indian trader named Robidoux established a trading post near this natural landmark on the old Oregon Trail. This route fell into disuse after the opening of Mitchell Pass in 1851.[1]

The NHL program, in 2004, further indicates that the "General Management Plan for Scotts Bluff National Monument, a National Park, recommends adding Robidoux Pass to the monument", and "Heavy grazing may be worsening erosion of the site. The site is in multiple private ownership and some of the parcels are subject to sale."[1]
