The Company is incorporated in Road Town, British Virgin Islands and its trading offices are located in London, England and New York City. While most hedge funds charge a performance fee of 20% to 30% of the annual returns, RIG has charged higher than that for most of it's operational lifetime.
RIG founder Andrew Roberts's estimated net worth is $803 million.
[edit] Investments
RIG has never published it's investment portfolio. Industry speculation has stated that it could be due to fear of competitor buying, or selling.
[edit] Environmental Activism
As well as having a noted interest in world charities, RIG set up 'Call for CHANGE' - an independent environmental awareness group, which also asks participants to sign a petition calling for an end to climate change. The group was set up by founder Andrew Roberts' son, Stefan Roberts, who joined RIG in 2005 as a Vice-President.
