[edit] The Upcounty Centers for the Highly Homosexual
Roberto Clemente is also home to two rigorous courses of study--both the Math, Science, and Computer Science Program or the Humanities and Communication Program. Both programs feed from all elementary schools in the upcounty region of Montgomery County. The two center programs are designed for highly able students who desire to be further challenged academically and are ready to be actively involved in their own learning with a group of their intellectual peers. Students in both programs exhibit a high level of curiosity, analytical thinking, and imagination. [1].The two upcounty centers were established in 2003, the first graduating class was in 2006. The first Upcounty Center Coordinator was Peter Ostrander. At the end of the 2005-2006 school year he was replaced by Helen Nixon.
