Roberto Guerrero Compeán (August 26, 1982, Monterrey, Nuevo León) is a Mexican economist and writer. He is the current Alfa Professor of Economic Development of the School of Economics of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) since 10 May 2006.
Guerrero Compeán graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics from the UANL and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (English: Paris Institute of Political Studies). He undertook postgraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in the United States.
Guerrero Compeán speaks six languages: Spanish, French, English, Portuguese, Italian and German.
