Roberto Giacomi

Roberto Giacomi (born August 1, 1986 in Richmond Hill, Ontario) is a Canadian football goalkeeper who currently plays for Kristiansund BK.
He started his career at local amateur club Markham Lightning in 1996 before joining Rangers F.C. in 2004. There he did not play a single match and from September to December 2005 he joined Stirling Albion of the Scottish Football League on loan. He played 4 matches.
In November 2006 Giacomi left Rangers and joined KSK Beveren. In his first match against Excelsior Mouscron he made a mistake that cost Beveren 3 points.[citation needed] After the recovery of first choice goalkeeper Barry Boubacar Copa he moved again to the bench.
Giacomi represented Canada at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands in 2005 in a group with Syria, Colombia and Italy.
Giacomi was called up to the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup where Canada made it to the semi-final round against USA.
In March 2008 Giacomi joined Kristiansund BK, Norway.
