Robert van der Horst (born October 17, 1984) is a field hockey player from the Netherlands, who won the silver medal with the Dutch national squad at the 2005 European Nations Cup in Leipzig and with their next attempt, gold in euro nations in Manchester. The midfielder/defender made his debut on December 4, 2004 at the Champions Trophy-match against New Zealand: 5-2.
He plays for Oranje Zwart in the Dutch League (Hoofdklasse), and won the title in the spring of 2005. Van der Horst was the captain of the Under 21 Team, that finished fifth at the Junior Hockey World Cup in Rotterdam (2005). On December 17, 2005 he was voted WorldHockey Young Player of the Year by his colleague's during the Champions Trophy in Chennai, India.
