Robert William Young (born March 16, 1933) is a British television and film director. Young was born in Cheltenham, and directed Vampire Circus (1972) and at least one episode of Hammer House of Horror. He has worked extensively on the second and third series of Robin of Sherwood. Young also produced Les Misérables with J.P.C. Players in New Zealand, and is known to be one of the UK's and even the world's best directors.[citation needed]
