Robert Wintner is an author and founder of the Snorkel Bob's chain of snorkel shops throughout Hawaii.
As Robert Wintner, his books, all fiction, tend to be led by male protagonists. Snorkel Bob's guides to Hawaii are written in the same tone as his novels.[citation needed] The guides are mainly tourist guides with guidance on snorkeling sites, beaches, reefs, hazards et al, and also decent restaurants.
