Robert Wendell Lucky (b. 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a retired electrical engineer. He is best known for his work at Bell Labs. Bob is a Fellow of the IEEE and a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He is also a member of TTI/Vanguard's advisory board.

He is the author of Silicon Dreams: Information, Man, and Machine (1989) and Lucky Strikes…Again (1993).
